San Giorgio

In 2025, as part of the PNRR program, the Veneto Region entrusted DOMINI with the feasibility study for a new university facility for Ca’ Foscari University of Venice. The project is located between the mainland and the island of Venice, on San Giorgio in Alga, where the ruins of the former monastery of the Serenissima engage in dialogue with a new longitudinal building. This “contemporary monastery” is intended to house the doctoral research center.
